Understanding Gauges
A measure of how many dollars you have provided in an Asset Jar

The gauge system

The liquidity gauge measures how much a user is providing in liquidity.
The liquidity gauge measures how many dollars you have provided in an Asset Jar. Each Asset Jar has its own liquidity gauge where you can stake your veOLIVE.

The weight system

Each gauge also has a weight and a type. Those weights represent how much of the daily OLIVE emission will be received by the liquidity gauge. The weight system allows OliveDAO to dictate where the OLIVE emission should go.
You can put your voting power towards the liquidity gauge you think should receive the most OLIVE.

What are gauge weights and when does it change?

Simply put, a gauge weight translates into how much of the daily OLIVE emission an Asset Jar receives. The weights are updated weekly on Thursdays at 7 AM UTC.

Who can vote for gauge weights?

Anybody who has veOLIVE can vote to direct its voting power towards one or multiple Asset Jars.

How can I vote?

Select the gauge you would like to put your voting weight towards, enter an amount in and confirm your transaction.

How often can I move my voting weight?

You can change your voting weight once every week.
